Art of Love
WRITER & DIRECTOR (2021)
On August 30th 2021, the city of São Paulo woke up with over 70 heart sculptures displayed on its most popular locations: Avenida Paulista, Parque do Ibirapuera, Oscar Freire, and more. Painted by talented artists and inspired by true stories of love, empathy, and resilience, this project brought color to the city in the most unprecedented of times — the moment we needed it most.
At the end of the event, the sculptures were auctioned, with 50% of net proceeds donated to humanitarian causes. The project was featured on CNN Brasil, G1, Globo Play, and more.
Each of these sculptures contained a QR code for a video with its history: an interview with the artist, a testimonial from the storyteller, and clips of the painting process.
